We loved NYC-based artist Eunjung Hwang's CAFKA 2018 project Head Man, an inflatable sculpture that strikingly resembled Kitchener's Mayor Berry Vrbanovic.

Future Pleasures stars more of Hwang's signature cartoonish characters, which originate in dreams and inspire her sculptures and animations. While this artist book is wordless, Hwang divides the book into fourteen "chapters," forcing the viewer to develop his/her own narration by free association. 

Eunjung Hwang received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Selected solo exhibitions include "6 Categories," Gallery Chosen, Seoul, South Korea (2016); “Three Thousand Revisits”, University Art Museum, Albany, New York (2011); "Eunjung Hwang," LA Center for Digital Arts (2008); and "Creature Feature," Sungkok Art Museum, Seoul (2007).
