Artist Talk and Reception: Saturday September 10, 2016, 4 PM
Open Sesame is pleased to present “entanglements,” an exhibition of works on paper by Niloufar Salimi.
Salimi’s delicate monochromatic abstract drawings, made with ink, collage, and human hair on rice paper, explore the ambiguity of identity with respect to language and the body.
“Entanglements” is on display from August 26 to October 8, 2016. An artist talk will take place on Saturday, September 10, at 4 PM, followed by a reception. The exhibition, talk, and reception are free and open to the public.
Niloufar Salimi holds a Master of Fine Arts from Western University (London, ON) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University (Toronto, ON).
